Prosthetics

Statistics show that almost every adult citizen in our country has incomplete dentition. Sometimes there is more than one tooth missing. Generally, the older the patient the more teeth missing.

It is a serious aesthetic and medical problem. The fact that some teeth are missing influences all remaining teeth. They have to take function of the missing teeth and therefore are overworked, the occlusal forces change and chewing function is disturbed. People whom this problem concerns usually feel embarrassed and do not like to smile.

To those patients for whom implantological treatment is not advised or for some other reasons patients do not decide to have a implantological reconstruction, we offer prosthetic treatment. In prosthetic work we use titan materials which are better and more advanced than materials made of steel or gold. As pioneers in this field, we have also introduced zirconium dioxide (also known as zirconia), a prosthetic material, which will become a successor of titan.

Depending on the number and position of the missing teeth we choose the most appropriate way of treatment. If the patient has healthy, treated root of the tooth, we suggest treatment with root canals. We can also offer bridges – porcelain teeth put on the place of the missing 2 or 3 teeth, attached to the neighbouring teeth. When there are no roots and the attachment of the bridge to the neighbouring teeth is impossible, we offer our patients moving dentures. We offer a wide range of moving dentures, ranging from the most common acrylic dentures to the most technologically advanced skeletal dentures, which protect gums.
