Implants

Implants are titan elements, which are implanted into upper or lower jaw bone. They are used to replace root of a missing tooth. This method of reconstruction has many advantages. First of all, the neighbouring teeth remain intact. Moreover, a tooth reconstructed on an implant is strongly and firmly attached and, practically, in its appearance or function does no differ from patient’s own teeth. It is worth mentioning that the number of implants does not have to match the number of teeth, however final decision regarding the treatment plan is always made by a dentist, implantology expert, on the basis of a thorough diagnostics.

In EURODENTAL Dental Center we use the best known implants in the world, produced by Swedish company – Nobel Biocare. Implants produced by Nobel Biocare are designed on the basis of wide scientific research by professor Ingvar Branemark – founding father of modern implantology.
